Recovery Password Switch

Trong trường hợp bạn mua thiết bị switch của cisco. Và trong lúc sử dụng bạn thay đổi password nhiều lần dẫn đến quên mất password vừa mới đổi.
Mình sẽ trình bày cách để bạn có thể đổi password đó.

1. Nối máy tính với console port của switch và trên máy tính chạy chương trình terminal ( Hyper Terminal ). Chọn các thông số cho chương trình terminal như sau:

Bits per second (baud): 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow Control: Xon/Xoff

2. Tháo dây nguồn của switch.
3. Giữ nút Mode của switch trong khi gắng nguồn lại cho switch
Ø Đối với 2900/3500XL và 3550 Series switches: Giữ nút Mode cho đến khi đèn của port 1 tắt
§ Vị trí đèn có thể khác nhau ở các dòng sản phẩm

Ø Đối với 2950 Series switches: Giữ nút Mode cho đến khi đèn STAT tắt
§ Vị trí đèn có thể khác nhau ở các dòng sản phẩm

4. Bạn sẽ thấy xuất hiện:

5. Ghõ lệnh flash_init

6.Ghõ lệnh load_helper

7. Ghõ lệnh dir flash:

8. Ghõ lệnh rename flash:config.text flash:config.old để thây đổi tên của file cấu hình.

9. Ghõ lệnh boot để restart lại switch:

10. Sau khi switch khởi động lại, ta đổi lại tên file cấu hình 1 lần nữa: rename flash:config.old flash:config.text

11. Copy file cấu hình lênh bộ nhớ Ram:

12. Sau đó bạn bỏ password củ và cấu hình lại password mới.

13. Cuối cùng bạn lưu lại cấu hình mới: write memory
